Building upon a solid foundation, we raise the performance bar even higher with the JetStor SAS Model 616F. Featuring dual-redundant active/active array controllers, this 16 bay RAID array delivers reliable data protection combined with the high performance of 4Gbit Fiber Channel host interfaces and quad 3Gbit SAS disk channel expanders to support mission critical business applications. Engineered to meet stringent demands for continuous availability, JetStor SAS 616F RAID array spotlights a brand-new 64-bit Intel IOP341 RISC processor for blazingly fast parity calculation and I/O operations, completely cableless SAS backplane-based design with SES capabilities, and storage capacities reaching 32TB in one small 3U enclosure.

Low service and integration costs are assured by the JetStor's cableless design, two redundant hot-swappable power supplies with two independent power inputs, turbo cooling fans, and dual embedded RAID controllers. Three year warranty comes standard with every array and covers all components.

JetStor SAS 616F RAID addresses many challenges present in datacenters and delivers unparalleled storage flexibility, higher levels of data availability, management and configuration simplicity, all while securing maximum investment protection to support future growth.








Drive Capacity
SAS drive capacities of 73GB (15,000 rpm), 146GB (15,000 rpm), 300GB (15,000 rpm), 450GB (15,000 rpm), and 1TB (7,200 rpm) are available.

SATA drive capacities of 1TB (7,200 rpm) and 2TB (7,200 rpm) are available.

Per enclosure maximum capacity 7200GB when using 450GB SAS drives.

Per enclosure maximum capacity of 32TB when using 2TB SATA drives.

Scaleable to 128 Terabytes with three additional expansion chassis.

    Exclusive RAID Manager configuration, monitoring, and notification web-GUI software provides instant access to the status of the RAID Array and allows for 24x7 RAID monitoring and notification.

    Dual FC host connection can support multiple hosts simultaneously. Perfect for clustered environments, e.g. MSCS - Microsoft Cluster Server.

    Up to sixteen low-profile SAS or SATA disk drives per enclosure.

    Automatic drive failure detection.
